Zeideal Farm SA is developing an integrated aquaculture project on the Nyong River in Cameroon's Centre Region. Production target of 1,012 tonnes of GIFT tilapia per year from 2032, in strict compliance with IFC Performance Standards 1 to 8.

Zeideal Farm SA commits to a disciplined organic growth, from the commissioning of the first 12 floating cages in July 2027 to the mature configuration of 22 cages reached in the second quarter of 2032.
Our project in one minute
On the Mbalmayo–Olama stretch of the Nyong River, less than 80 kilometres from Yaoundé, Zeideal Farm SA operates a floating cage aquaculture facility using HDPE cages of 884 m³ usable volume each, dimensioned to Regal Springs international standards.
The selected species is Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) GIFT strain, all-male monosex above 95%, identified by the FAO as the world's best-performing strain on key parameters of growth, feed conversion and resilience.
Two 180-day farming cycles per year, from the fingerling stage (5 g) to commercial size (450 g), enable a stabilised production of 1,012 tonnes per year at maturity, distributed fresh within 24 hours on the Yaoundé market via an integrated cold chain.
Structured ESG commitment
Our approach exceeds Cameroonian regulatory requirements to align with the IFC Performance Standards 1 to 8, paving the way for an ASC certification targeted by 2030.
Social
75% local jobs, 30% women, ongoing training in partnership with the Garoua School of Wildlife and the University of Dschang. Community programme of 120 million FCFA over 7 years for the riverside communities.
Environment
Farming density limited to 30 kg/m³, one third of international intensive standards. Continuous water quality monitoring, organic waste valorisation through composting, carbon footprint reduced by short circuit.
Governance
Annual financial audit by Big 4 firm or equivalent, SYSCOHADA compliance, quarterly ESG reporting to lenders, active Audit Committee and ESG Committee with independent director.
